After receiving an MBA in international business, Steve worked as a market development professional for more than twenty years helping companies from start-ups to billion dollar corporations in high-tech, consumer and non-profit sectors develop strategic relationships, increase sales and enter new markets.


Beginning in the late 1980's, he worked in New York with software company, Computer Associates International (CA) and consulting firm, Davenport Campbell (Drover Technologies division), as a sales and business development executive with a focus on opening new markets. In the early 90's, after settling in Denver, he spent six years as a senior manager in corporate marketing developing international markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America, by initiating and developing strategic relationships, joint ventures, acquisitions and marketing programs for IHS Group, a billion dollar international corporation.


Over the years Steve has also worked with Companies and clients that include: AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Campbell's Soup, New York Life, Dow Jones, McGraw Hill, Jane's Information Group, Taiwan Ministry of Industry, British Standards Society, American Petrolium Institute, American National Standards Institute, Arabian Horse Registry of America, Arabian Horse Association and the Arabian Jockey Club, as well as many small and local businesses in and near Denver, Colorado.


As Vice President of Development for a national trade association, Steve helped doubled membership through the development of industry relationships and the creation of many new programs to address the needs of key market segments. Later as head of sales and marketing for a new merged association of 45K members, Steve managed the publishing and editing of an association trade magazine, as well as advertising sales, media relations, and sponsorship development. Steve developed a short trade association documentary film for the PBS TV show "Spotlight On." As a consultant, he also has credits as a script consultant for a documentary film about former President John F. Kennedy's assassination: "American Assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald Behind the Iron Curtain"


During the past several years, Steve has been applying his expertise to both building his own marketing consulting practice and working as a partner in a food brokerage business marketing beef and poultry products, as well as a unique food safety product that extends the shelf life of fresh food products. New market development strategies take advantage of the power of the Internet to attract new customers and drive sales. Business people and consumers alike have, for the most part, abandoned traditional marketing and advertising mediums and seek out solutions to problems and products to purchase on the world wide web.
