You may want to contact their corporate office to write and send your letter "return receipt ". This means that you have the assurance that someone will sign his letter to the company. (You may get thousands of emails every day and ignore and delete those that begin with: "I have a great idea on how Yahoo could …..") sending a written acknowledgment (and save a copy of the letter) gives the proof that he has made a fair idea if you like and start using it without your permission.
