How I can be hired as an analyst for Seo?
A year ago I decided to get into SEO like I was unemployed and was developing an interest in working in a role related to the web. I have advanced degrees in business, but which are outside the U.S. so it seems, do not really count as employers. I've been really pushing hard, learning to develop sites (good for static, HTML, CSS and some JavaScript, so far, but I'm with the goal of learning to build the most dynamic for next year) and have a certificate in web development, in addition to reading like crazy About Seo and practice on my site. However, almost never asked me for an interview, and if I do (I can apply for entry-level positions, the half-time, etc) it seems that I am not technical enough or not enough experience, for an entry level job! I even volunteer. What I have to study more or learn to do to be taken seriously?
Dear MeloMelo, I am totally convinced that I could answer this question on their own by conducting a gap analysis between what employers are looking for and what it has to offer. Then review your resume from the perspective of gap analysis, and identify the skills and experiences that would that zapping the gap. best, could be the way to market yourself in your resume
