My Home website google Missing?

I am a Seo Executive, work for a SEO company. In one of our camapign us facing a strange problem, client homepage website has disappeared from Google results pages. But someone suggested to me not heat up and wait. And the page appeared again after two weeks. I want to know why this happens, because we can not ask customers to stay cool in such things.

SEO is the activities are like games of risk and the results go up and down instead of which we are constantly doing our Seo Work very well. It also happens due to the continuous changes in the algorithms of major search engines like Google.
