Is it bad in terms of Seo to use the same article that you submit to EzineArticles as a post in your blog?

I have read some things about duplicate content and I'm trying to figure out it is wrong to use an article I wrote about Ezinearticles as a post for my blog without changing it. If I can publish the same article in both places it affects neither the classification of EzineArticles, blog, or both in Google? For example, Google will not show a list one or both of them because it is the same content found elsewhere. Anyone know? Thanks.
