Online Marketing Job

Are online degrees social work frowned upon in the labor market?
I found a couple of accredited schools that offer online degree in social work. Only some of the comments on the program were very positive, someone commented that online degrees SW are not taken seriously in the labor market. Is this true?
Yes and No. But in reality, the question we must ask is: I have the job I want with a degree in this program? can generally to get a social assistance work that needs an MSW or BSW from an accredited school of social work. You also need a certificate or license in your state. Most states will not leave without a degree from a CSWE accredited school. So, really, the program must be accredited by the CSWE (Council Working Social Education) and the college or university must be recognized by the region. There are very few distance learning programs in social work (two I can think of), but any program must require some in person contact and field work to graduate. Are you going to do a distance learning program, I would suggest pursuing one to an established school with a good reputation. Michigan State is a good option (https: / / www.msu.edu/ SWDist ~ /) but I'm sure there are others.
