Question about Seo …?
I am building an HTML site. I followed almost all the basic rules of SEO, but has a couple of pages within the site (no, the pages of elementary school) that use frames. I understand that the frames can adversely affect SERP ranking, so I have had the use of frames to an absolute minimum and only used on pages minor. I would like to keep the search engines index pages with frames (But not the FRAME pages) so far shown no future incomplete or "ends" in the SERP pages. I'm thinking of using this tag to accomplish this: My question is: Does this have negative or adverse effects SERP ranking in the pages of other non-frame that are designed to get the best SERP ranking? We will use this tag only negatively affect the framed pages in your site whole? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
This should not affect your SERPS. (But honestly, nobody really knows.) If you have links to your website framed also want to use 'nofollow'. However, very few robots use the robots meta tag and it would be better to put in the robots.txt file
