If I can refresh a page using strike-throughs in the old content will hurt my indexing and positioning in Google?

Hello. First off is the strike through text necessary? Is it important for visitors to view content that is no longer valid? I doubt that Google will penalize by a preference of style, unless it determines the text is unreadable or used to try to manipulate search engine results (Seo Black Hat). Why not create a separate page with more content, a link to that content on your pages again so you can describe what this means content to visitors? This Thus, it might keep your content readable form that altogether eliminate the worry Google has penalized, while at the same time improve their prospects for SEO.
