How I can sell rare first edition of my books online?

I have been asked to sell some of the first edition of rare books my grandfather through the Internet and do not know how to get a good price for them! I do not really think eBay is the best place because it is the market for that sorts of things and people that are just looking for bargains full .. any suggestions as to where to start selling? thanks
