How does a marketing budget?

"Improvising" Most small businesses when setting the marketing budget, so I congratulate you put some thought into the setting of limits. Assuming you've been in business for over a year, start for events such as those obtained in previous years earnings statements. Be conservative – at least initially – and spend about 1% to 2% of earned income for marketing. As you are paying for some advertising, be sure to include the costs in your analysis.
